How to make your Video?

  1. Using your cell phone, video camera, digital camera, or web cam, record a 1 to 3 minute (maximum) video in mpg, mp4, wmv, mov or avi format about how your service helped a CCHS home warranty customer successfully resolve a claim.**

  2. Get a release form signed by everyone in your video.

  3. Upload the video using the form. Be sure to provide accurate information so we can contact you if necessary.

  4. Your video may be featured on one of our CCHS YouTube channels.

  5. Cross Country Home Services and its affiliated businesses shall have complete discretion with regard to what it considers to be the best video submission.

Tips for Creating Your Service Provider Video

  • Explain how your service benefited a CCHS customer. Here are some helpful questions to consider when recording your video:

  • What product did the customer purchase?

  • What was the reason for your service call?

  • What home system or appliance were you called to repair?

  • Under what circumstances did you visit the customer's home? i.e., was it really hot or cold outside and their A/C or heating broke, did their stove or oven break down right before a dinner party, etc.?

  • How quickly did you resolve the problem?

  • Did you assist the customer in other ways (explain what the problem was and why it happened, show them how to properly use the equipment,provide maintenance tips, etc.)?

  • How did a CCHS home warranty save the customer money, time and/or frustration?

  • How much would the repair or replacement have cost the customer on  a retail basis?
